💡 Marketing Quickies

This week’s theme is systems over stress — and that starts with your marketing.

1. Turn your best explanation into a repeatable asset.

   If you’re constantly explaining what “brand storytelling” means, record a 5–7 minute walkthrough once. Who it’s for. What it costs. What the process looks like. Now every warm lead gets clarity without you repeating yourself 40 times.

2. Build a default client journey.

   Inquiry → Discovery Call → Recap Email → Sample/Demo → Clear Pricing → Decision Call.

   When every project feels custom from step one, you burn energy before the contract is signed. Systemize the front end so creativity stays reserved for the actual film.

3. If you repeat it twice, it deserves a system.

   Explaining your services. Sending pricing. Booking calls. If you’ve done it more than twice this month, document it. A simple checklist beats relying on memory every time.

4. Automate the boring, not the relationship.

   Auto-schedule links? Yes.

   Reminder emails? Yes.

   Robotic follow-ups that sound like a bank? No.

   Let tech handle logistics so you can stay human where it counts.

5. Don’t ask “Let me know what you think.”

   That kills the human effect of your business. Replace it with:

   “If this looks good, want to grab 15 minutes Thursday or Friday to go over it?”

   Follow-up works best when it includes a decision point.
